Healthy Shelby County is leading the initiative to establish the CommunityLink in Shelby County. Located on a 3-acre site on the southern side of Shelbyville, this center will feature a spacious 31,000-square-foot building that offers office and meeting spaces for a variety of nonprofit social service organizations.
The mission of Healthy Shelby County is to collaboratively enhance the health and well-being of everyone who lives, works, plays, and gathers in Shelby County. The CommunityLink will embody this mission. By bringing together multiple nonprofit organizations, the center aims to lower overhead costs for these agencies. Furthermore, operating in a shared space with similar organizations will facilitate better referrals for families in need.
